Zeke…I’ve got it! This is what the problem is, I’m sure of it. We have spent all of this time trying to figure out what these maniacs are, extraterrestrials, parasites, artificial intelligences, humans with nannites or electronics implanted, but we were looking at it all wrong. Humans here are supposed to be descended from Neanderthals, right? We’re the intelligent beings descended from elsewhere and we are now trying to understand these aggressive, stupid Neanderthals actually from Planet Earth.
How do we regress enough to understand them?
I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to take the next Space Shuttle out of here.
