Lisa Joyce

While I was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, I consider Buford, Georgia home.  My mother’s family has been in the metro Atlanta area, Buford in particular, for generations.  I am nearly 58 years old.  I have a BA degree in Business Management from Strayer University in Washington D.C. and have already been accepted into the International Law program at The University of Zurich in Switzerland.  My 11th grade English Teacher saw that I had potential as a Writer after I wrote a short story in her class.  She encouraged me then, to consider writing as a career.  This is my first attempt at writing professionally.  I have been waiting most of my life to meet my characters, and now I finally have.   It never occurred to me to look for my characters in the mirror.  I hope that everyone enjoys the highlights and teasers and eventually the story in it’s entirety.
