Zeke, our parents are never going to go along with this!  “My parent’s don’t get a say so in this any more.  If we’re protected by the sanctity of marriage, your parents won’t get a say so either.  Lila, I’ve waited my whole life to find you again.  You’re my wife now, or at least you’re about to be.  No one, absolutely no one can ever take you away from me, or come between us again.  So what do you say, marry me right now, and you can hit the road with me!”  Zeke, I hope you’re right!  YES….absolutely positively YES!!  I have only dreamed about becoming your wife my entire life!  That day that you built the snowman outside of my bedroom window, I knew that I loved you.  We were what, 3 maybe?  I didn’t really understand then, what I was feeling but I knew that YOU were my HOME!  I want to spend the rest of my life with you.  I want your face to be the last thing that I see at night before I go to sleep and the first thing that I see when I open my eyes in the morning.  You, my Zeke, my very first best friend and now my husband!

Should we leave a note?   “Lila, if I know you’re Mom like I think I do, if we don’t, she’s going to send out the National Guard.”
